Waterbed Safety Liners

If your waterbed mattress should ever develop a leak, you will want to protect your furniture, floors and carpets from water damage.  A vinyl stand-up waterbed safety liner will contain any leakage allowing you to wipe it up before damage occurs.  The water bed liner has rigid sides that unfold in the wood frame.  The water bed safety liner is placed over the waterbed heater pad.  The waterbed mattress is then placed inside the waterbed liner and filled with water.  A water bed mattress should never be filled to a level above the top edge of the vinyl waterbed safety liner.  Consider the purchase of an electric waterbed drain pump, which comes with a puddle scoop attachment for draining water from flat surfaces, such as the water bed liner.
